A gift and a challenge: CLC on the paths of the contemporary FAMILY

scheduled for the spring of 2017 (28th April – 3rd May)

As a response to the call from the World Assembly in Lebanon, which pointed to the contemporary family as a value asking for our special common care, Polish National ExCo decided to prepare and host a Europe-wide CLC meeting devoted to this issue.

Preparing for this event, we would like to invite your national communities to delegate two members involved in the family-oriented apostolate. On the one hand, it will be an occasion to collect and share our European experience in this area until now, as well as determine the specificity of the directions of our actions stemming from Ignatian spirituality. On the other hand, we will be encouraged to answer questions related to the urgent needs of the environment we live in and to the frontiers we are inspired to reach. Reassured by the call from the Holy Spirit recognized in Lebanon, we believe that this family-centred assembly will be truly inspiring for all of us.

Please take your time to prayerfully study the recent post-synodal apostolic exhortation AMORIS LAETITIA of the Holy Father Francis on love in the family. Being rich in Ignatian inspirations, it will definitely be an important guideline and point of reference for us.
